We may be a small family business, but we are capable of big things. Coming from the UK, Calam did all of his cabinetmaker training over 4 years and moved across from cabinet making to joinery and then into construction, broadening his scope of knowledge & capabilities.

We could go on about all of the different courses and qualifications he’s obtained over time, but we don’t want to bore you. I do the usual partner thing of keeping the paperwork organised and sorting out the carrier bag load of receipts. Basically he’s worked around and done the entire building process from groundwork to paint with all of the woodwork in between, and it means that he is able to do jobs efficiently, anticipating issues, providing solutions and producing exceptionally high quality finish products to the customer’s requirements.

We take on a huge range of work, from small simple alterations to whole-house and commercial fit-outs; because of Calam’s training and experience, he really excels at complicated and sophisticated work. “I cannot think of a time that something has not been possible”; it’s always just been about finding a solution. Calam is not a yes-man; if he feels there is a better option or a more cost-effective way, he will suggest and explain it; this is just part of his ethos. He wants to provide the best that is possible; there are no set ranges or products that we stock either, so everything is custom designed as per individual requirements and choices.
